Within 14 days of purchase, anything you have not yet used is refunded, for any reason.
The same terms wherever you live.
These no-questions-asked refunds are limited to two per customer per year, to prevent repeated use. Duplicate purchases, and items that never reach your collection, never count towards that limit. Nor does the limit apply to the statutory rights described under “Your rights under law” below.
A stamp already used on a letter, and a limited stamp whose serial number has been marked on a letter and delivered, cannot be refunded — a sent letter cannot be taken back.
The moment a refund is settled, the stamps, paper or membership from that purchase return automatically. An unused limited serial goes back to the edition. There is nothing for you to do.
You can cancel at any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancel from “Manage membership” in your stamp collection, or from the link in the receipt email from Stripe. Cancelling and refunding are separate: within 14 days of a renewal you may also ask for a refund.
Write to support@tegami.ink with the order number from your receipt email. Because Stripe sells as Merchant of Record, you can also manage it from the link in your receipt email. An approved refund usually reaches your card in 5–10 business days.
Japan’s mail-order rules provide no statutory cooling-off period; the policy above is a return agreement we set voluntarily, going beyond what the law requires. Where the law of your region grants a right of withdrawal for digital goods — as in the EU and the UK — that right applies in full. Nothing above limits it.
